River's End

River's End is the capital of the Broken South and the main hub for diplomatic relations with Faerûn, housing multiple embassies. Home to about 25.000 inhabitants, of which the majority are human, with members of many other races also present, the city is also one of the biggest in the Windren Nation Alliance. The city's harbour is also usually the first travellers from Faerûn land at and with the recent lift of travel restrictions, River's End attracted a lot more new faces.
City Districts
The city is split into two major centers by a surrounding wall, with smaller districts each. The bigger part is the city center, which is fully surrounded by a 30 feet high wall, while the smaller harbour area only has walls protecting its land access.

Central Harbour
This part of the harbour is the center of trade for incoming and outoing maritime trade routes, mainly due to the fact that its piers are the only public place able to handle bigger ships (e.g. trade ships, international routes, etc.). Buildings along the waterfront are mainly warehouses, the central square is surrounded by shops, while the rest of the district consist mainly bunkhouses (for sailors and the likes), more warehouses, taverns and citizen houses.
The central harbour is connencted to the trade distric by two gates, one next to each river, and a bridge over to the west harbour. The gates are flanked by two towers and a city guard barracks each. The bridge has a wooden guard tower on each end.
