The party received a payment of 400 gold pieces for successfully escorting Koro across the border. Their focus then shifted to further training and bonding with their newly acquired feline mounts. Under the supervision of their goblin trainer, they were deemed ready to ride. Koro informed her brother, and the party convened outside the city. He announced they would escort a caravan traveling in the same direction, thwarting their hopes for a faster journey.

Mistaking the group for a response team from Koro's house, the trader shared news of a caravan attack in the area. Koro and Whisper investigated the scene and decided to continue their search the next day in better light. Later, they explored the local market, encountering a trader with magical items—tempting, but well beyond their budget.
