The group continued to explore the bustling city of Asarius, dubbed the City of Beasts. Amidst the chaotic activity and rugged urban sprawl, the party sought to identify their recently acquired magical items. Koro secured feline mounts, essential for safe passage through the perilous terrain surrounding the city, though Reeves balked at the exorbitant daily rental fee of 20gp. A brief disagreement between Reeves and Koro led Reeves to withdraw to the tavern, leaving the others to their errands.

At the tavern, the party regrouped, and Koro shared alarming news: more Iron Shepherds had been spotted in Asarius, searching for a mysterious group of people or an ancient race believed to be within the city. While little is known about their objectives, the name unsettled Reeves, given his past association with the infamous mercenary organization.

After undergoing a crash course on handling their feline mounts, Koro surprisingly received a reply, revealing her brother had been in Asarius all along. The party followed her to the government district, where Koro reconnected with her brother. Their reunion highlighted their close bond, and her brother offered to accompany the group to Rosohna, providing both supplies and potential compensation for the journey ahead.
