13th-22nd of Cuersaar, 835 PD

The party traveled by ship toward Palebank Village. Several days into their journey, a pod of whales began following their vessel, escalating from curiosity to aggressively bumping the hull. Attempting to escape this harassment, the captain navigated toward shallower coastal waters, inadvertently placing the ship at risk from the nearby mountain-dwelling Rocs. Indeed, the ship soon attracted the attention of two Rocs that swooped down, seizing a whale each and slightly damaging the ship's mast in the process. After making necessary repairs, the crew resumed sailing at full speed.

23rd of Cuersaar, 835 PD

The party reached Palebank Village. While the crew replenished supplies via smaller boats, an unexpected stowaway—a gnome—suddenly revealed themselves and fled. As part of the group pursued the fugitive, Reeves secured passage to their next destination, the mountainhome beyond the Crystal Desert, arranging to travel with an elven-led dogsled caravan. With no formal lodging available, accommodations were arranged informally within the village.

The caravan departed, making steady progress across the crystalline expanse of the desert.

On the following day, the journey was abruptly disrupted when the lead dogsled fell into a concealed pit trap. Quick reactions prevented significant harm to the sled dogs, but the party quickly realized they were under ambush as hidden assailants began emerging from the surrounding dunes, leaving the session poised for imminent confrontation.
