Bygrove is the first major town south of Wetsen along the trade road. The town is made up of brick houses which definitely belie the towns actual wealth. Even though it is a major hub for peat and charcoal production, the city's economy took a hit in recent years. While the town is officially run by a mayor, two major families have control over happenings in town; Pere and Zigil.
