Sweepy, sweepy floor

27th of Cuersaar, 835 PD

The party settled into a period of recovery and reflection at an inn near Uthodurn. With no immediate tasks demanding attention, each member took advantage of this rare downtime in their own way.

Reeves, practical as ever and guided by habit, spent the day seeking temporary work in the settlement, lending his strength to various day jobs in exchange for coin. When he returned to the inn that evening, he found the rest of the party already gathered. Koro, previously afflicted by a severe curse, appeared fully healed due to the efforts of Uthodurn's temple clerics. Conversely, Bibi seemed unwell, possibly affected by lingering effects from their recent hardships.

As the group discussed their next steps, tension surfaced between Reeves and Koro. Reeves expressed frustration regarding the timing of Koro's inquiries into his past with the Iron Shepherds, highlighting his dissatisfaction that these questions had emerged only after they'd committed to a voyage he had initially opposed. The brief yet charged exchange concluded with Reeves withdrawing to the bar, seemingly weary from repeated confrontations.

Ultimately, the party decided to spend the following week in relative tranquility, each member pursuing individual goals while collectively gathering information on potential routes and threats awaiting them in the south. Reeves continued seeking daily labor, using the opportunities both to earn gold and subtly gain local insights beneficial for their upcoming journey.
