Cooking with Dragon

24th of Quen'pillar, 835 PD

Having slain the young red dragon in its lair, the group took time to harvest materials from its remains. Koro skillfully butchered the dragon, extracting valuable leather, teeth, and claws for crafting or trade. With their grim work complete, the adventurers descended the mountain and informed the local leader of the dragon's defeat, cautiously noting the potential threat of any remaining cultists. Upon returning, the group found their captive from the cult dead, they apparently didn't survive the intense interrogation by Koro's brother. Later, driven by curiosity and adventurous tastes, Koro and Bibi prepared and sampled both dragon meat and egg, eager to discover their flavor.

The party arrived in the bustling port city of Jigow. Hoping to secure passage further north, Koro consulted a local guard who directed her to speak with their Captain at the city garrison. However, said Captain offered only vague answers, explaining that the next supply ship northward carried sensitive cargo under orders from the queen herself. Reeves suggested that Koro contact Queen Leylas directly through magical means for clarity. After doing so, Koro received an enigmatic response from the queen, warning cryptically, "You won't like the answer." Upon pressing further, the group discovered that their former ally, Essek, would be aboard the vessel, or at least Koro assumed it's him. Suspicion rekindled by past events involving the giants, Koro's mistrust deepened, motivating her to secure passage on the ship to keep a watchful eye on Essek.
