The day begins with the younglings of the group recovering from a night of heavy drinking. After breakfast, the party splits up to pursue different activities in Hupperdook.

  • Rico and Koro visit an old friend.
  • Reeves takes up day labor to earn some extra coin.
  • Whisper and Bibi explore the city together, focusing on sightseeing and learning about Hupperdook’s unique features.

After meting up again the party strolls through the city together.

  • Circus Experience: The group is coerced by Koro into securing front-row seats at a circus show. Bibi feels apprehensive, not wanting to be uncomfortable or drawn into the performance. They get a sneak peek behind the scenes, encountering a huge cat that turns out to be an illusion. However, its twin, a very real and caged creature, leaves a strong impression.
  • Gnome-Led Tailor Shop: Bibi is charmed by the fine craftsmanship of the gnome tailors. Here, she learns more about the luxurious and incredibly durable Eisenseide fabric from Nogvurot, which is known for its ability to resist even scissor stabs. Though primarily used for sails, Bibi admires its potential for exquisite clothing and promises to return for a dress when she has the means.
  • Herbalist Shop: Their journey continues to “Lay of the Land,” an herbalist shop run by a stereotypical, customer-smothering elf druid. Here, Bibi examines a sample of red algae she previously acquired, discovering its ability to fluoresce. They collaborate to create a flask that stores sunlight, providing light for an hour a day for about a year. Bibi learns the process to replicate this effect in the future.

Evening Festivities: Their further exploration is cut short by the onset of fireworks, signaling the start of evening festivities and more drinking.
